Spiritual Power

Hey everybody,

I hope your labor days all went well. Ours was pretty good. We've been enjoying some upper 50 degree weather lately. It's getting me ready for the fall season. I'm so excited. Anyway, transfers are next week, so we'll see if I've finished the work I need to do in Ellington, yet.

I'm kind of short on time, but we had a good week. We moved another person, which had got to be my 14th move in this ward. At least most of them are move-ins or move-closer-to-the-church ones. Anyway, we had a dinner with an investigator family. That was really cool, and they have good questions. (and the food was way good.)

We had interviews and zone conference this week, and both were awesome.

One of the trainings at zone conference was from a senior couple that talked about an equation:

([faith+ sacrifice+ obedience]xAction) /( fear + doubt) =Power = Miracles = f(x)

I attached this to a calculus principle that helped me grasp the concept better.
The lim. f(x) as [(fear + doubt) --> 0] = ∞. In other words, our power becomes limitless and so do our Miracles as we leave our doubt and fear.

I know that we can all bring the power of Jesus Christ into our lives as we trust him and live his teachings,
Love you all,
Elder Rogers.
