We had transfers on Wednesday. I dropped my companion off at our zone leader's apartment so they could drive him to his new area.
I was praying pretty hard while I was driving. Anyway, if any of you are still reading, it's time for a spiritual experience I had this week. On Saturday we weren't allowed to drive once the storm hit, but we could walk. So, we went to a nearby elderly member and shoveled her walk. We had to go back the next day and do it again, but we needed something to do. On our way back, we saw an elderly lady shoveling her walk by herself. We offered her our help. At first, she thought we were going to charge her, but we told her we were just doing service. It was such a fantastic experience because we were able to really help her. She expressed her appreciation and we were able to talk with her a little. If we didn't walk over to shovel that day, we would have probably never met her. The Lord works in mysterious ways. We just need to allow him to bring us where we need to go. "27 Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;" (D+C 58:27) Let the Lord put others in your path. I've seen many miracles on my mission and it comes by meeting people and helping everyone I can. God will prepare others for us to receive as we go about doing good.
I love you all,
Elder Rogers
