Birthday Week

Hello all,

The week's been good. It's flown by. In fact, 11 months ago today, I put on this black nametag. It's gone by so quickly. I'm also turning 19 this week. I'll be able to spend my entire time and efforts while I'm 19 to serve the Lord. I'm so grateful for the blessings I've already experienced and know I will get to experience a great many more miracles.

We moved a bunch of people last week, and we're moving two more this week. Also this week, we're picking up a new car to drive around. I'm pretty stoked about it. We had stake conference yesterday, and we had a man come to watch it. It was a miracle to have someone that we've talked with show his faith by coming to church.

Our zone is having a week-long "feast" on the Book of Mormon. The challenge is to read all of it in 7 days. It should be good.

Also, if you didn't know, it's President Monson's 90th birthday today. His birthday wish: "Do something for someone else on that day to make his or her life better. Find someone who is having a hard time or is ill or lonely and do something for them. That’s all I would ask." I know most of you probably won't get my email for a few days or even a week, but I would still encourage you to help this wish come true. I'm truly thankful for a living prophet on the earth. The priesthood authority has been given to him by God. The blessing of having the priesthood active on the earth has blessed me so much in my life.

Love,
Elder Rogers
