Howdy Everyone,
This week was especially decent. That's alright, though. Elder Clare and I were absolutely wrecked Sunday morning. We spent a big chunk of Saturday moving a member across town. That in addition to bad allergies ruined us... absolutely ruined us.
One of the families we've been teaching texted us randomly Friday afternoon and said we could meet that night. They had cancelled our appointment for earlier this week, so we were really happy when they could meet. The lesson went very well and we're very excited for them.
We set a baptismal date with the media referral, and they dropped it. So, we were super excited for a few days, but not anymore. We're hoping that sometime in the near future they'll get there.
Recently, I've been studying the pride cycle in the Book of Mormon. At various times throughout the entire book God promises the people who inherit the American continent "Inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments ye shall prosper." (1 Nephi 2:20 and throughout) I love this promise. As long as we keep the commandments that God has given, He is bound to prosper us.
