Christmas Miracles

Hey Everybody,

This week was a pretty good one. I found out my new companion is Elder Blotter, and I'm pretty excited for this transfer. He came out at the same time as Elder Leavitt did. We also got to go to a ward Elder's Quorum fireside where the Boston Temple President and Matron came and talked to us. We brought our investigator and he was a little confused, but we sorted it all out:)

I had a crazy cool experience on exchange with Elder Little this week. We had been praying to teach a lesson all day without any success. An hour before we were to exchange back, we stopped by a potential investigator. He had 15 minutes and invited the rest of his family into the living room to hear our message. The spirit in the lesson was so strong, and I experienced a great amount of joy. It was cool to see the Lord provide not only the opportunity for us to teach a lesson, but to also allow us to bring the light of the Gospel unto that family.

We had a great lesson in Elder's Quorum about being disciples of Christ. Oftentimes, we get caught up in wanting others to believe we are something rather than actually working and becoming that thing. This discussion has helped me try and actually be some of those things that I was trying to want others to believe about me. I also tried to stop focusing on what others were thinking about those things.

Love,
Elder Rogers

We decorated our own gingerbread houses last P-day.
