All Saint's Day

Hey all,
Isn't it great we have a day to celebrate all the Saints in our lives?

I know that All Saints' day means something different, but Our investigator is a saint! He was baptized and confirmed this last week. He's so golden it's awesome. We're going to the temple next week so he can be baptized and confirmed for his ancestors.

We have a zone goal this month to work harder and achieve more than we previously have. I'm excited for the challenge to exercise greater faith and work with greater diligence. We've been receiving miracles of former investigators and other people getting in contact with us.

We had an awesome District Leader Council on Thursday. In my mind, I remembered that we are called to to "study, believe, love, live, and teach" the doctrines of the Gospel. I love the Doctrine of Jesus Christ and it's simplicity. Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Holy Ghost, Endure to the End. President Uchtdorf said, "This beautiful gospel is so simple a child can grasp it, yet so profound and complex that it will take a lifetime—even an eternity—of study and discovery to fully understand it." I've been trying to focus and simplify my understanding of the gospel and of my purpose as a missionary. I'm grateful for this Restored Gospel and the many blessings I've received because of it.

Love you,
Elder Rogers
