Hey Everybody!
I hope you all had a fantastic fall week! Unfortunately, I've been feeling a little under the weather this week, but I should feel better soon. We have transfer texts this Friday. I think I'm staying in Cambridge, but I might get a new companion. We also had zone conference this week. I always love hearing from President and Sister Miller.
We had a miracle with tracting this week. It is a little bit different than a normal tracting miracle, though. We were going to get on the T (the subway), and it was backed up. It took a half hour for a train to get to us. In the meantime, I went through our phone deleting duplicate contacts. (Elder Leavitt accidentally duplicated the whole sim card.) Consequently, I found some former investigators that neither of us had ever seen before. I texted them, and one of them was interested. Hopefully, we'll get to meet with him soon.
We had the blessing of having Elder Neil Anderson coming to our Stake Conference. He gave a really good talk about having faith. He said that we first need faith, then we get testimony.
'6 And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.'
I've definitely seen the blessings that come after faith. I know that God answers prayers.
Love,
Elder Rogers
I got to touch the toe of Mr. Harvard (apparently that's a thing)
