Big Doors Swing on Small Hinges

Hey everyone!

This week has been a pretty awesome one. We had some pretty nice weather with two day of torrential rain. In fact, we got caught tracting about a mile away from our car when it began to pour. I had an umbrella, but I was worried because there was a lot of lightning. Anyway, some guy stopped and gave us a ride the last half mile. It was like one of those super cool mission stories. He was even related to a member in the ward, but he wasn't interested. We were still grateful for the lift. Funny enough, we actually got caught in the rain again on Saturday morning. We were stacking wood for a member. It's all good, though. Most of our clothes are dry now.

Also, We had a media referral that we couldn't get in contact with. We had left a card on her door with our number on it, and she called us back the next day. We're going to go over there tonight and teach her. I've gained such a great testimony of how the little, righteous actions bring about miracles. We did everything we could to get in contact with her, and had success!

Alma says to his son Helaman:

7 And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls.
(Alma 37:7)

I know this is true Elder L. Whitney Clayton said, " In my experience, getting the little daily habits of faith right is the single best way to fortify ourselves against the troubles of life, whatever they may be. Small acts of faith, even when they seem insignificant or entirely disconnected from the specific problems that vex us, bless us in all we do."

I love you all!
