A Message to Share

Howdy everyone,

This week was fantastic. We had two 80 degree days which was a little hard. This weekend was awesome, though. We had an absolutely fantastic zone conference in Groton on Friday, and we participated in a portable visitor's center event in Manchester, CT on Saturday. Of course Easter Sunday was great as well. We had an awesome dinner at a member's house.

We saw some pretty cool miracles this week. We've been having trouble finding people to teach in this area. Everyone we talked to wasn't interested or impossible to contact. Anyway, Elder Crandall and I decided to make some changes. We had an amazing experience with praying, studying and planning. We eventually set a specific goal and made plans to carry it out. Immediately after we set these in place, we've been having great success. We found 7 people who told us they would be interested. We're going to keep up with this and work to teach more people. It was such an immediate display of God's hand in our lives, and I'm very grateful for it.

Jesus Christ proclaimed to the Nephites

21 Behold, I have come unto the world to bring redemption unto the world, to save the world from sin.

22 Therefore, whoso repenteth and cometh unto me as a little child, him will I receive, for of such is the kingdom of God. Behold, for such I have laid down my life, and have taken it up again; therefore repent, and come unto me ye ends of the earth, and be saved.
3 Nephi 9:21-22

We have this amazing gift from the Saviour to be afforded the opportunity to repent. He's provided ordinances like Baptism and receiving the Holy Ghost to satisfy justice. We can receive this through faith and repentance. Not only does He forgive us of our sins, but He provides ways for us to be exalted. If we continue faithful, I know we can live with God again. What a great message to share to the world!

Love,
Elder Rogers
