Miracles on MV

Hello All,

This week was crazy. We got some more snow and wind. Daylight Savings Time always hits pretty hard, too. We had an awesome zone conference and interviews with the mission president this week.

After interviews, we ate at this restaurant called Little Sami's. I got this sandwich called El Diablo. It was pretty good and we joked that I was "frustrating the work" of El Diablo. Aside from lame missionary jokes, we had another miracle this week. We went back to teach the family that we found last week. We were kind of worried because they don't understand English very well, and we were going to try and teach the Plan of Salvation. When we got there, one of their sons and his family were there. The son was awesome and translated the lesson into Portugese. What could've been a very difficult experience was so amazing and spiritual.

The zone conference was all about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It helped me remember the importance of repentance. I love Moroni 8:25:
"25 And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins;"
The forgiveness of our sins is one the most amazing opportunities God has prepared for us.
Have a good week!

Love,
Elder Rogers
