Farm Country

Hey everybody,
This week was fantastic. So many things happened. I actually found out
on Friday that Elder Crandall is leaving. He's going to Cambridge
Mass. and Elder Clare is going to join me here in Ellington. It should
be a good time. It's going to be his last transfer. There are farms
all around our apartment. So we took some pics with a few of our
neighbors before Elder Crandall left.

We had exchanges, Interviews, found the Lego factory, and a sick
Italian coin. Anyway, it was a full week. I got to go on exchange with
Elder Steele. He's a haitian-creole speaking missionary. He's in an
English area right now, but we had a great time in Enfield for a day.
I also had an awesome interview with President Miller. He's an awesome
guy and we had a great discussion.

We had a lot of lessons with members as part of our new ward mission
plan. It's pretty good. We actually had a regional broadcast yesterday
that Elder Oaks spoke in. He gave a great missionary-minded talk and
got a lot of members to think about inviting people to hear the
message of the restored Gospel.

We had some amazing experiences teaching families the lessons this
week. Joseph smith's experience with the First Vision always brings
the Spirit into the lesson. The church recently released a new First
Vision video that's fantastic. I would encourage everyone to watch it
and ponder how it's changed your lives.

Love you all,
Elder Rogers
