Transfers

Hey everybody,

I'm very excited this week because I found out that I'm getting transferred on Wednesday. I'm gonna get sent to the Island of Martha's Vineyard. It's just off of Cape Cod, and Nantucket Island isn't in my area. It'll definitely be a strange experience. I've never lived on an island before, but it should be pretty fun. This last week we got a bunch of snow and we couldn't drive or go outside for nearly two days. We didn't get much done, but we had a pretty fun time.

So, I found out that I was getting transferred on Friday, but on Thursday I read Jacob 5. It's all about working in the vineyard. Anyway, I thought that was kind of cool. These last 5 months on the mission have been amazing. I feel like Jacob when he says, "wherefore, I conclude this record, declaring that I have written according to the best of my knowledge, by saying that the time passed away with us, and also our lives passed away like as it were unto us a dream" Jacob 7:26. It really has felt like a dream and it's been such a great learning experience. The Mission President's wife always tells us that the mission will be the best two years for our lives. I've seen that already in my short time out.

I've also had the opportunity to work with so many great people in this ward. I'm so blessed to be out here.

Love you all,
Elder Rogers
